Havelock is a medium-sized coastal city (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of North Carolina. With a population of 16,500 people and six associated neighborhoods, Havelock is the 65th largest community in North Carolina.Havelock is a military town: the armed forces employs 12.63% of the workforce, making the military a major focus of life in the city.
