Preston is a tiny coastal town (i.e. on the ocean, a bay, or inlet) located in the state of Maryland. With a population of 677 people and two associated neighborhoods, Preston is the 243rd largest community in Maryland. Much of the housing stock in Preston was built prior to World War II, making it one of the older and more historic towns in the country.
