Valdosta, GA Housing Market Trends

With 55,074 people, 21,663 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $171,252, house prices in Valdosta are solidly below the national average.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Valdosta, accounting for 65.11% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Valdosta include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 21.03%), duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 10.35%), and a few row houses and other attached homes ( 2.00%).
