Avon is a somewhat small town located in the state of Colorado. With a population of 6,511 people and three constituent neighborhoods, Avon is the 67th largest community in Colorado.

Unlike some towns where white-collar or blue-collar occupations dominate the local economy, Avon is neither predominantly one nor the other.
