Juneau, AK Housing Market Trends

With 31,974 people, 12,676 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $360,267, Juneau real estate is some of the most expensive in Alaska, although Juneau home values aren't among America's most expensive.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Juneau, accounting for 46.80% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Juneau include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 19.74%), row houses and other attached homes ( 13.69%), and a few duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 11.95%).
