Juneau, AK Housing Market Trends

With 31,685 people, 13,017 houses or apartments, and a median cost of homes of $537,387, Juneau house prices are not only among the most expensive in Alaska, Juneau real estate also is some of the most expensive in all of America.

Single-family detached homes are the single most common housing type in Juneau, accounting for 45.23% of the city's housing units. Other types of housing that are prevalent in Juneau include large apartment complexes or high rise apartments ( 21.64%), row houses and other attached homes ( 14.37%), and a few duplexes, homes converted to apartments or other small apartment buildings ( 10.85%).
